Contiki: Payments & Refunds

Deposit and Final Payment

To reserve a Contiki tour, a non-refundable deposit of $200 per person is required for the first Contiki tour booked and a deposit of $100 per person for the second and subsequent Contiki tours booked for the same trip. The balance of the total Contiki tour price must be paid no later than 45 days prior to the tour departure date.

If a reservation is made after the final payment due date, the entire price must be paid at the time of booking. Tickets and other documents will not be available until final payment is received.

Contiki accepts MasterCard, Visa or American Express.

If final payment is not made 45 days prior to departure, Contiki will assume the tour is cancelled.

Cancellation and Refunds

Cancellation and refund policies vary, with penalties increasing as the departure date approaches. If a cancellation occurs, Contiki will assess the following penalties:

45-22 days prior to departure 25% of tour cost
21-8 days prior to departure 30% of tour cost
7-1 days prior to departure 50% of tour cost
Day of departure No refund

If the passenger is not present for the start of a Contiki tour, joins it after its departure, or leaves it prior to its completion, no refund can be made. If a change is made to a reservation after the booking has been confirmed, Contiki will assess a fee of $25 per person, plus any additional costs of the new tour.

Deposit, payment and cancellation terms may differ for group bookings.
